I am a layman of the Church, longing to be a good servant of Jesus Christ. But I am imperfect, and I fail a lot. But though my sins are great, my God is yet greater. So great is he that he bore my sins for me, bringing me love and compassion that I don’t deserve, but he gives them (among other things) anyway.
God calls me to things I’m not good enough to do. I’m not good enough to dance, but I do. I’m not good enough to write, but I do. I’m not good enough to love, or be loved, but I do and am. It is because of I AM that I am who I am, and he has provided all these things for me and more out of his grace and mercy and love, for which I am not yet grateful enough.
May God be glorified.
